As a support organization in P. Stradins Medical College of the University of Latvia has a student self–government organization, which represents interests of students, organizes events for students, alongside studies, takes part in various activities to promote competitiveness outside college and participates in events popularizing image of the college.

Student self-government operates in accordance with the regulations developed by it and approved by the college council. The student self-government has the right to request and receive information and explanations on issues that affect the interests of students from the college self-government institutions and heads of structural units.

Events and activities organized by the students' self-government:

• Acquaintance events for first-year students
• Erudition game about the College and Latvia
• Various charity events
• Christmas events
• International evenings and excursions for Erasmus+ students
• Organization of teams for participation in sports events outside the college
• etc.
