Library of P. Stradins Medical College of the University of Latvia is a cultural, educational and informational unit in college. College Library Foundation has 12,000 books, 70% of them are medical literature, as well as widely represented literature in psychology, pedagogy, social care, cultural history and philosophy. Reference literature, dictionaries and various encyclopedia are available. The library subscribes to press publications issued both in Latvia and abroad. Since 2018, the P. Stradins Medical College of the University of Latvia has been subscribing to the National Package of Electronic Database EBSCO.
The library aims to develop as a specialized medical cognitive store and continue to improve the library’s infrastructure, using the ooportunities of the latest technology and cooperating with college curriculum leaders, lecturers, providing the study process with the latest medical, social sciences and research literature.
The library received the accreditation of the Latvian Ministry of Culture in June 2019.

EBSCO database
From January 1, 2018, the EBSCO database is available to the students and lecturers of the University of Latvia. It is a universal full-text database in English, which includes several thousand materials from full-text magazines, newspapers, reference publications and other sources of information on a wide range of topics.
